Metal Pressing

This group of processes involves the use Pressing of Sheet and Plate Metal to form 3 dimensional shapes, stampings, cups or components at sizes smaller  than 300mm diameter / square.

The process involves placing a flat sheet of metal into a Stamping Press, where a male and female stamping dies come together to produce the net shape.

Highly applicable to the High Volume Production  environment, varying degrees of complexity and cost are achievable through design optimisation.
