This category encompasses the Pressing  of sheet metal that is performed using a single forming die to produce components under  300mm in diameter / square.

With Single Die Forming, the complexity of forms is restricted to what can be achieved in one pressing operation.

To achieve more complex  pressed forms parts can be passed between machines, however the next logical step for complex pressed forms is "Progressive Die Forming", where the formed part can travel between many stages, and progressively be stamped into shape on a single machine.
