This category encompasses the Pressing of sheet and plate metal that is performed using a Progressive Die Forming Machine to produce components under  300mm in diameter / square.

With Progressive Die Forming, the complexity of forms is only restricted to what can be achieved in the number of pressing operations available on the machine (and the material).

The formed blank travels between many dies and is progressively  stamped into shape - this offers significant design flexibility  over single die forming and is suited for high volume production as high production rates can be met.
