Tube, Pipe & Section Forming

This group of processes involves the Forming of Tube, Pipe  and Sections  through plastic deformation. Tools or dies deliver pressure on the material, consequently transferring the desired geometry to the component.

Forming must not be mistaken for bending. Forming is the act of changing the profile or cross section of a tube, pipe or section. Bending produces a U or V shape and has a tendency change in cross sectional diameter.
