Extrusion Die Forming

This group of processes involves the transformation of stock metal or ceramic into a specific cross section or profile, generated in semi-continuous lengths.

This process is applied to a variety of materials, most commonly known application is in the production of aluminium profiles.

Ceramics can also be processed in this manner, when in powder form mixed with a plastic binder.
