Tube & Section Swaging

The process of Swaging  produces internal shaping, such has Hexagonal, Octagonal and Squares, whilst maintaining  the external shape of the Tube, Pipe or Section. The shaping can be produced at one end, both ends or the whole way through the tube. Also, the shaping process can increase  or decrease  the diameter of the tube.

The process of Tube Swaging involves inserting a die into the inside of the workpiece and hammering it rapidly, giving the process short cycle times.

The final product has good surface finishing, tight tolerances, no material loss and the fundamental material strength remains the same.
