Blow Moulding

This category combines the use of internal pressure and heat to expand hot plastic into a required form. The form is imparted by a mould tool into which the hot plastic preform is sealed, and then expanded.

Injection Blow Moulding and Injection Stretch Blow Moulding are most commonly used in the production of drinks containers.

Extrusion Blow Moulding with it’s multiple layer, varied composition capabilities is used in a number of demanding applications. It’s use is particularly prevalent in the automotive industry where ducts, containers and bottles of complex conforming shapes are commonplace.

Complex outer shapes combined with thin wall section and a built in sealing mechanism such as a "screw-cap" are all possible.
