Light Tube & Section Bending

This process category encompasses the bending of light tube, pipe and section profile material.

This ranges from CNC Mandrel or Roller Bending machines capable of multiple axis tube & section manipulation, producing complex 3 dimensional forms, to simple press bending operations performed with a press brake.

This category covers material diameters from 6mm up to 75mm, and/or a wall thicknesses of less than 3mm (typically)

Tooling can vary significantly, it may be generic or made to suit the application as with rotary bending dies with mandrels and wiper dies.

Volumes processed can extend from one-off bespoke items, through to high volume applications such as the bending of automotive exhausts.
