This process category encompasses the use of Liquid to apply pressure to a Flat Sheet Metal Preform, forcing the sheet metal to deform to the shape of its container or die.

Similar to "Tube Hydroforming" the sheet metal can be in direct contact with the liquid, or a bladder applied to prevent contact.

A range of component sizes can be manufactured in this way, but this process is applied widely in the production of body panels and large are sheet metal components.
