This process category encompasses the creation of a Polystyrene or Foam pre-form to create a Sand Mould, the pre-form remains in place whilst the Non-Ferrous Metal is poured into the sand mould.

The pre-form then evaporates leaving the cast Ferrous Metal inside a sand mould.
