This process encompasses the use of a permanent mould, which is rotated along it’s axis whilst molten Ferrous Metal is poured into the mould cavity.

 

The resultant component is created as the metal cools against the perimeter wall of the mould.

 

High temperature and refractory metals are often processed using centrifugal casting, creating components with very high integrity.
