Chrome Plating

This section includes the types of Chrome Plating available, which offer improved wear characteristics and visual appearance when applied to a component.

There are two main types of Chrome Plating: Decorative Chrome Plating and Hard Chrome Plating. Decorative Chrome Plating deposits a relatively thin layer onto the component. Hard Chrome Plating may not necessarily be harder than Decorative Chrome Plating, but the layer added is thicker, which increases its resistance to wear.
