This process encompasses the processing of Sheet metal, continuously fed through a set of rollers which progressively modify the profile of the flat sheet into the desired cross-sectional shape as the sheet progresses along the process.

This process is usually employed to manufacture medium and high volume runs of standard length steel profiles.

Multiple roller dies and progressions are utilised on large continuous production machinery.
