Plough Grinding is typically known as Lumsden Grinding and is used to produce Flat Surfaces on both small and large components.

The difference between this process and any other grinding process is it has much higher rates of material removal.

Additionally, large areas can be machined without leaving ‘witness’ lines and high dimensional tolerances can be met.
