In-Feed Centreless Grinding, unlike Through-Feed or End-Feed the component is fed into the grinding wheels from above, as opposed to from end.

 

Shafts with Contours, Complex Forms and Multi-Diameters can be In-Feed Centreless Ground as the shaft is inserted on top of the two grinding wheels - meaning it does not have to travel along the length of the wheels.
