Radial Drilling is performed on a manually operated radial drilling machine.

The Drilling Head is mounted on a sliding radial arm, which can be rotated, raised or lowered on a vertical pillar, allowing the position of the drill to be adjusted above the workpiece.

It is typically offered as supplementary process in small batch and job shop environments.
