Centrifugal Casting - Composites applies the same principles as generic “Centrifugal Casting”. A permanent mould is rotated whilst a combination of resin and fibres are injected.  

In centrifugal casting the aim is not for the laminate to fill the die, but for the laminate to be forced centrifugally to the outer perimeter of the die.

Centrifugal casting can be used for high integrity components of cylindrical or rotational symmetry.
