Power Beam Welding
Power Beam Welding is the process of joining metal to metal using a high energy power beam.
The power beam creates intense localised heat between the workpieces. When the beam is initiated it almost instantly melts the workpiece. The melted metals from the respective workpieces bond together as the Beam moves the bead of molten melt cools creating a strong form a high integrity weld.
The process of Power Beam Welding is not restricted to just welding, this process can be used to drill small holes, cut and machine components.
Power Beam Welding is widely used in automotive, construction and aerospace industries to name a few.
