A non-contact method of digitally capturing the exact size and shape of a part using a line of laser light.
3D Laser Scanning allows measurements of complex parts to be captured quickly. The process records large amounts of data, capturing the entire surface of the part, and transfers the measurements into a visual recreation of the component in digital form.
This method is particularly beneficial when measuring complex geometries, such as contoured surfaces.
