finishing-and-treatment-manufacturing-processes > Stove Enamelling
Stove Enamelling is a variation of the Wet-Spray Painting process. However, unlike Wet-Spray Painting, the enamelling paints only cure when they are subjected to heat.
Stove Enamelling can produce finishes in a wide range of colours and gloss levels. Additionally, the process is used across many industries, including vehicle interiors and industrial machines. Stove Enamelling can produce excellent finishes, but is a laborious process as it requires multiple coatings and is prone to chipping when the component is used in harsh conditions.
