Pad Printing, also known as Tampon Printing or Tampography, is an offset printing process which makes use of a soft silicone pad to transfer the image onto a substrate.

The main advantage of Pad Printing is its versatility, with it having the ability to print onto almost any shaped surface. This is contrary to alternative printing processes where the surface must be flat, and is due to the pad being able to adapt its shape to match the shape of the surface it is printing onto.

Pad Printing is popular in a range of applications, with some examples being printing on electrical components, large industrial appliances, advertising items, sporting goods and children’s toys. The process can be performed on almost all materials.
