finishing-and-treatment-manufacturing-processes > Hot Dip Galvanising

This process encompasses the use of molten Zinc & Zinc Alloy to coat a substrate (component) by submerging then removing the component from molten Zinc. This produces a solidified layer of Zinc Alloy on the surface of the component.

Unlike Zinc Plating, Hot Dip Galvanising doesn’t use an electrolytic reaction to deposit the zinc coating.

Components must be of a suitable size, and transportable for coating.
