Copper Plating is the process of applying a layer of copper onto the surface of a component.
There are many advantages to adding a copper layer to the surface of a material. Copper has excellent thermal and conductive properties, which makes it great for use in electrical and heating applications. Additionally, copper has good corrosion resistance.
Copper Plating is normally applied using electroplating, although electroless methods can be utilised if desired. Common applications where Copper Plating is used include the aerospace industry and in electronics.
