Bronze Plating is the process of applying a layer of bronze over the top of a component and is typically performed using the electrochemical plating process.
Bronze Plating can be performed independently or can used in multi-layer plating applications to further enhance the performance of a component. Advantages of Bronze Plating include improved wear resistance and reduced friction.
Some of the main applications where Bronze Plating is used include hydraulics, marine applications and within the manufacturing of automotive tyres to improve adhesion between the rubber tyre and steel cord.
