Wire EDM process explained - EDM wire erosion
EDM WIRE EROSION
This process of EDM Wire Erosion using a thin wire to cut shapes and profiles through a workpiece.
Being a non-contact process EDM Wire Erosion is favoured in applications where stresses induced from machining, sawing or other contact processes are not permitted.
